St Wilfrid's School 125
Another photo from the archives, this time celebrating the St Wilfrid's School 125. This was a celebration of St Wilfrid's School 125th birthday and involved the community of St Wilfrid's travelling a total of 125 miles (by foot, bike etc). The Junior School also recreated life in a Victorian school and a time capsule was buried in the school grounds. At the end of the celebration, 125 balloons were let go to celebrate, with one ending up as far away as Bristol!
Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic plans were put on hold to celebrate St Wilfrid's School 150th birthday but rest assured, when we are allowed, these celebrations will still take place.
